Essential Functions
  • Support the coordination, management, and execution of projects for both the field and office
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the contract, drawings, and specifications for projects
  • Measure, track, and report on project progress, issues, impacts, and wins
  • Assist with cost forecasting and invoicing
  • Assist with estimating and pricing of project changes and impacts
  • Create, review, and manage project documentation, such as submittals and RFIs
  • Ensure safety compliance of all on-site personnel
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of insulation product information and energy codes
  • Identify which insulation products are ideal for various applications
Competencies
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other project related documentation required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
  • This job operates in an on-site, drug-free workplace, professional office environment as well as in the field on job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

  • Bachelor’s degree (project management or related field is preferred)
  • One-year experience in construction industry is preferred

  • Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 per year (placement within the range is based on experience and qualifications)

    • 50% paid by employer for employee dependent
  • 401k Tax-Deferred Retirement Plan with 3% company safe harbor contribution
  • Paid Vacation Leave starting at 10 days per year

  • 8 Paid Holidays per year
  • Paid Jury Duty Leave

Essential Functions
  • Set the financial budgets for projects
  • Provide all relevant information to HBI team members to ensure project success (scope information, material types, financial tracking information, safety information, etc.)
  • Utilize tracking metrics to identify issues or areas where project is going over budget
  • Find solutions to correct or mediate job site challenges and budget overages
  • Prepare cost forecasts and report on estimated profits
  • Obtain customer acceptance of project submittals, RFIs, safety documents and other deliverables
  • Coordinate with team members to make sure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules
  • Review project changes and ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
